Private Paddleboard and Snorkeling adventures - We show you what is AMAZING in Southwest Florida Gulf waters.
ALL adventures include all equiptment, a lesson while on land and instruction by a certified SUP instructor who is also a Florida Master Naturalist.
All locations require reservations. Children under 10 ride along at $25. All tours are approx. 2 hours and may be extended to three hours. Paddling combined with snorkeling tours are 3 hours.
Snorkeling can be added to any adventure location yet please call Tracie. These trips are geared to participants that are 12 years and older.
Please note, FWC prohibits touching, swimming with, or feeding manatees and dolphins.

Gasparilla Island / Boca Grande - 19th street East
Gasparilla Island, otherwise known as “Boca Grande”, is a barrier island located at the tip of Cape Haze peninsula. Our trip launches into the Gasparilla Sound, on the Great Calusa Blueway paddling trail. The first section of the trip explores a lagoon, frequented by dolphin. In season, manatee come to this quiet location for nursing and feed on the sea grass beds. A migratory peregrine flacon was observed on one of our trips in March 2015. Moving on to a nearby barrier island, we will find many shorebirds and other coastal bird species. The waters here have an abundance of gastropods - horse conch, lightning whelk, crown conch and tulip snails. I will also point out invertebrates like the comb jellyfish, mangrove jellyfish, and various sea stars and sea urchins.
Our launch is from the bayside on 19th Street, parking is free. There is a $6 fee for the bridge crossing from the mainland to Gasparilla Island.

Boca Grande/Gasparilla island Railroad Trestle tour
The Historic railway leading to Gasparilla island is an amazing place to learn paddling and observe our local aquatic life. This is a Family Friendly tour with many options for anyone and everyone. We launch from the Boca Grande fishing pier heading out to paddle the Placida sound/Charlotte harbor aquatic preserve. A common sight during this tour is dolphin bothering fishermen along the trestle begging for their catch. Depending on the winds and conditions we can explore Bird Key and view little Gasparilla Island. Paddling back towards the swing bridge we will stop for a relaxing break on the infamous Boca Grande Sandbar. While walking the shoals we'll have a blast finding large gastropods, sea stars and observing local fish. Depending upon our time we may even head over to Dog island and take a swim in the moon lagoon. Come on a tour like never before where the dolphins are frolicking and fishing and birds are abundant.

Land lesson will be provided at the beginning of all adventures. We will discuss SUP safety, SUP hazards, Paddling techniques and basic turns.
The use of Paddleboard Adventures equipment includes:
Paddle board or kayak, leash, paddle PDF with whistle.
Paddleboard Adventures has many different types of boards for different types of boards for paddlers on our on fleet.
We currently have YOLO, BIC, Stand on Liquid, Latitude 44 & SUP ATX. We have two Perception pro 13 kayaks with stadium seats for immense comfort. There is a big different between all boards, Paddleboard Adventures wants to allow you to try anything on our fleet and educate you on what you are paddling on and with.
Paddleboard Adventures does not provide unsupervised rentals. Should you like to rent a paddleboard, we can refer you to many local reputable companies depending on the area you would like to explore.
